WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT?

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the key architect of the quality strategy for a high-scale SaaS product. This is a strategic position designed to evolve our client's release model from manual regression to a high-velocity, automated system. You will act as a functional expert across product teams, defining how quality is owned and helping the organization scale toward a model where they can deploy dozens of times per day. The goal is to move quality "left" in the development lifecycle, ensuring systems are built for speed and safety without QA becoming a bottleneck.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE FROM YOU?

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, specifically within complex SaaS or infrastructure products.

• Extensive experience with Playwright and Cucumber, and a proven track record of building and improving automated test coverage.

• Strong knowledge of test layering, including the deep technical tradeoffs between unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience with high-frequency deployment environments, focusing on release gating, smoke suites, and automated validation.

• Proven ability to define quality strategy in embedded or cross-functional models, reducing reliance on manual overhead.

• Strong systems thinking to collaborate with Platform and SRE teams on environment stability, rollbacks, and post-release checks.

• Excellent mentorship and influence skills, capable of coaching teams on quality ownership and technical best practices.

• Experience in a "player-coach" capacity, equally comfortable reviewing complex test plans and contributing directly to automation strategy.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments, helping define the quality function as the project grows.

• Strong communication skills to drive alignment between engineering and product goals.

• Advanced English level.
